MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!

I hope that you're having the most magical day with your family and loved ones! We've had a splendid Christmas so far with many lovely surprises. We just finished up lunch and I imagine it will be a lazy afternoon. Lovely. 💜

Like I said, this one isn't as intense as yesterday's, but I figured it was good to end with a classic sweater! 

I really enjoy the light blue and silver theme. It's quite lovely.  

Want to know the best part about this sweater? It's a Kathy Lee brand. I'm thrilled that I get to celebrate the holiday with her!

Year Seven, Day Twenty-Four!

Happy Christmas Eve, friends! I hope your day is grand! I'm getting ready to spend the afternoon with my family! 

YEAR SEVEN. DAY TWENTY-FOUR. 

This might be my favorite sweater of the year. I would have saved it for tomorrow, but I thought it was super appropriate to wear to this morning's church service and tonight's candlelight service! 

A full nativity scene on my sweater! How epic is that?!

So many beads and sequins! 

I got tons of compliments on it this morning. 

But wait... there's more! The wise men are on the back! 

Someone said, "I don't think it's ugly!" I responded, "Are you sure though?"

It is quite majestic.

Good afternoon, friends! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend so far! We had some snow this morning, but unfortunately, it's already gone. I've done a lot of watching Christmas movies and catching up on some last minute details. I also went to see Star Wars again with the family. What a great day!

Year Seven, Day Twenty-Two!

GUYS. It's the Friday before Christmas!!! If you had to work all week like I did, you know this day couldn't get here fast enough! I am so excited for the extended weekend. It's going to be great.

Today, I'm really geeking out over my sweater. I ordered it late so I was worried it wouldn't come in on time, but it's here and it's beautiful! 

YEAR SEVEN. DAY TWENTY-TWO.

Guys. I am SO in love with today's sweater. For all of you people who aren't nerds like I am, this is from the TV show Firefly! It features the ship from the show called "Serenity."

Firefly is a cult-classic sci-fi western TV show by Joss Whedon that was tragically canceled after one season 2003, but it was followed up by a movie in 2005 called Serenity. It wasn't around long enough to have a Christmas episode, but I imagine that if it did, it would look something like this...

Just kidding. Probably not. I don't think Captain Mal Reynolds would be Santa because, you know...

SORRY. Bad joke. 

The only thing that would make this sweater better is if I had a Jayne hat. Anyone want to get/make me one??

Year Seven, Day Twenty-One!

Only 4 days until Christmas!! How crazy is that? I feel like December is just flying by! I still have one more present to buy, but I know what I'm getting... I just have to wait until payday tomorrow. Ha. 

I know that a lot of people are on Christmas break now, but unfortunately, I'm not so lucky. So, have some extra fun for me, okay??

Oh, what fun it is to wear a one-horse open sleigh! 

This sweater is so intricate, it's truly unbelievable. 

Although, I feel like it would put me more the Christmas spirit if it was colder outside. It's in the 50s today. Also, this sweater is heavy and itchy. I'm ready to take it off!

Ugh. Halfway through the week. Is anyone else having trouble staying focused this week? I don't want to do anything!

I ran into someone from church at lunch today, and she said, "Why, aren't you really sparkly today!" 

Why, yes! Yes, I am! 

Someone else pointed out that I seem to have a lot of vests this year. That may be true, but this is the last vest for 2017. 

The beadwork is very intricate on this one. Way to go, Victoria Jones.

Anyway, this sweater is delightfully ugly! You can't really tell, but there are beads all over it.

Honestly, it's not as comfy as it looks. I'm about to go change!

Year Seven, Day Eighteen!

I hope everyone is surviving their Monday! It's been a pretty hectic one over here, as per usual. However, this is the last Monday before Christmas! We're only a week away!

I have a themed sweater today, and I'm pretty excited about it.

I'm trying to shoot webs over here. It's not working.

Random story. So over the summer, I was super excited about Spider-Man: Homecoming coming out. A lady who used to work for our company somehow got it in her head that I was OBSESSED with Spider-man. Don't get me wrong, I do like him a lot. But she kept bringing him up in conversation when she was around me. It was hilarious. So when I saw this sweater, I had to get it! 

Alas, poor Spidey. I knew him well...

I'm ready to join the Avengers now!
