MERRY CHRISTMAS! Day 25!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

I'm really sad that today is the last day of Brennan's 25 Days of Ugly Christmas Apparel! Although... I'm kind of glad I get to start wearing real clothes. :)

But here it is! Day 25!

I still think yesterday's was wayyy better, but for obvious reasons I couldn't wear it today.  So, this is the final sweater!

I'm quite fond of the bear on top of the presents. And the random wreath at the top. And the plastic bows, stars, and beads that decorate the tree.  It's super classy.  I got some wonderful compliments from people at church this morning (from people who still hadn't caught on to what I was doing.)

Precious.

Day 23!

Hey friends..

First off, I would like you to continue praying for the Hays family.  Lisa Hays went to meet the Lord at 5:25 this evening.  Keep her husband Phil, her children Caleb and Corrie, and the rest of the Hays family in your prayers.  I love them all so much.....

Today's sweater is very similar to a previous sweater, but it's not the same! 

The tree is much more decorated than the previous one!

My friend Jenna and her sister Betty told me to flaunt it today when I was in Walmart... and I sure did!

Day 21!

Good evening, friends!

I just got back from finishing up my Christmas shopping for this year! Woohoo! I'm exhausted.

Today's sweater vest is my last sweater vest that I have for this season... So, if you are particularly fond of the vests, I am sorry to disappoint. But, there are still 4 more days of ugly Christmas apparel, so don't get too upset!

I'm really fond of today's vest. Mostly because it is adorned with "gold" and "pearl" beads.  It's shiny, it's festive, and it makes all the grannies jealous.

I'm also quite fond of the plaid.

I was told this evening that the thermal undershirt didn't quite go with the vest... but I don't really have much else to wear under it. I'm a guy.

Day 20!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Well, not really here. It's been raining for the last several days....

But, today's sweater vest keeps me dreaming of a white Christmas.

I don't understand why her legs are completely white... it makes it hard to see them.

Day 19!

Hello friends! Sorry for the late post... and my apologies that today isn't all that exciting. 

Today is my first lazy day in a long time, so I'm just lounging around in my house with my Santa sweater on.

It matches my Snoopy pj pants really nicely.

Day 18!

Home sweet home!

I wore this sweater to church this morning. Some of the old ladies complimented it. Haha!

I realized today that several of my sweaters are by a brand called "Heirloom Collectibles."  Probably the classiest sweater makers ever. Let's be real.


Also, if you could keep praying for Lisa Hays and her family, that would be wonderful.

Day 17! With more guests!

Santa Claus is coming to town!

This vest is unbelievable. When you have 6 floating Santa heads, what more could you want out of a Christmas sweater?!

Day 16!

Finals week is over! My life is a whole lot less stressful! Woo!

Today's sweater reminds me of a Christmas sweater quilt. It's interesting to me though that the color scheme is Red and Blue rather than Red and Green.  It's a refreshing change! I like it!

A friend told me her mom has the exact same sweater... SO epic. I hope she's wearing it today. Then we could be twins!

Day 15!

Before I get to today's outfit, I would like to ask you all to pray for an extraordinary lady named Lisa Hays.  Her son, Caleb, has been a close friend of my for a long time.  Lisa is battling lung cancer.  She is currently in the hospital and is in a critical condition. The doctors aren't giving her much time left. Please keep her in your prayers as well as her husband Phil, their son Caleb, and their daughter Corrie.  I love them all so very much. God can work miracles.

Day 14!

Today has been really weird. It's been sunny and beautiful. I wore shorts today and grilled out with some friends for lunch. And it's December. Crazy!

But, anyway... here is today's sweater vest.

I've actually gotten a lot of compliments from it today! It's super classy. Especially when I wear it with shorts.

It features a slightly terrifying Nutcracker...

And a rocking horse...

It's beautiful. I love it.

Day 13!

Good evening!

It's smack dab in the middle of finals week for this guy! I'm pretty sure I failed my German final. Ich spreche kein Deutsch. But that's okay!

Today's sweater is a sight to behold. With bells, trees, stockings, wreaths, candles.... It's just breathtaking.

There are also jingle bells on the sweater too. They have been annoying me all day... but, it has been spreading the spirit of Christmas all day, so I'm happy. :)

I thought the black and red striped shirt gave it a nice touch too.

Day 12!

Greetings from the Milligan College Library! I am currently studying really hard for my finals!!!

And by studying really hard, I mean Facebooking. Like a whole lot.

I work at the library. It's my favorite place ever. 

I really enjoy sweater vests. A whole lot.

I have more. Get excited.

Day 11!

Sorry today is late! My parents are in town and I've been getting ready for my Christmas concert tonight!


Today's vest, in all honesty, is not all that tacky.  I remember a Sunday school teacher wearing something similar...

However, the tackiness lies in the fact that I am wearing it. And it's slightly too small.  Classic!

Day 10! And guest day!

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree, how tacky are your branches!

This one is just beautiful. I am so excited about it. Presents, bows, "pearl" beads. This sweater just captures the Christmas spirit.  I bet you wish I was this sweater was hanging in your living room instead of your real tree.

The best part is... my sweater has a twin! My good friend Rebecca has a sweater very similar... and it's made by the same company! Classic! Way to go Tiara!

Day 9!

Happy Friday! 

Another sweater vest for the win!

This one, like most of the sweaters I have, is a bit short, so I feel it makes me look pudgy. But it's all in the holiday spirit, so it's fine! 

I really enjoy the fringe around the arm holes. It's super classy.  The beaded holly gives a nice touch as well. I'm really disappointed that the mittens aren't pockets though....

Day 8!

Today's sweaters is really festive!

It's a little bit short on me, so when I raise my hands like so, it exposes my midriff. Luckily I have a shirt on underneath. We don't want to be too scandalous here.  

There is a lot of fun patterns on the back as well!

The tag says that the sweater is 54% Ramie, 43% Cotton, and 3% other fibers.  Okay, first off... what is Ramie? I've not heard of that before.  And I'm kind of scared as to what they mean by "other fibers."  I hope my skin doesn't fall off.

Here's a close up of some of the decor.  Check out the buttons. The beads are a nice touch.

Also, at the time of this posting... my blog has gotten 3,308 hits.  OH. MY. GOODNESS.  I was not expecting this to be such a hit! Thank you everyone who has visited so far! Keep spreading the love to all your friends!
